Substitutions

During the match, players may be substituted as often as you like. The substitutions may be made during the match. However, substitutions may only be made within the coaching zone near the kick-off spot, i.e. the substituted player must leave the pitch at the coaching zone and the substituted player may only enter the pitch there (exception: injuries).

Match Rating

For the group matches, the goal difference decides in case of equal points, and the number of goals scored decides in case of equal goal difference. If the number of goals scored is equal, the direct comparison between the teams shall decide. If there is also equality here, the winner shall be determined by a drawing of lots. If the groups are distributed asymmetrically, the match between the best second-, third-, fourth- or fifth-placed team and the team from the larger group against the team at the bottom of the table shall not be taken into account.

If no winner is determined in the knock-out matches (e.g. round of 16) and placement matches after regular playing time, the winner shall be determined without extra time by a penalty shoot-out (large field). First, three shooters per team compete against each other. If there is no winner after three penalties, a further penalty is taken by each team until a winner is decided. All players are eligible to take penalties, regardless of whether they are on the pitch at the end of the match or are substitutes at the time. No player may take two penalties before all team-mates have taken one.

If a team arrives late (5 minutes after the official start of the game) or does not appear, the game is considered lost with 0:2 goals and won by the opponent with 2:0 goals. In case of tardiness through no fault of the team, the tournament committee decides whether the match will be rescheduled. Should a team decide to abandon a match, the match is also considered lost with 0:2 and won by the opponent with 2:0 goals. This also applies to gross unsportsmanlike conduct outside the field of play. In this case, the tournament committee has the right to exclude the team concerned from the rest of the tournament. If matches are cancelled due to weather conditions and cannot be made up on the scheduled tournament days for scheduling reasons, the results of these matches will be drawn (2:0 or 0:2). This only applies in the case of a tournament interruption, not for a tournament cancellation.

Team registration form

The tournament committee no longer needs to be provided with a complete list of players with their surname, first name or date of birth, as this has already been requested from the teams in advance. Only the players on this list are allowed to participate in the tournament matches. Players may only play for one team during the tournament. If a club participates in the tournament with several teams, the players must be permanently assigned to one team and can´t switch.
