Hamburg

Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany with more than 1.8 million inhabitants. The metropolis is located on the Elbe and Alster and is known among other things for a great port. Take a harbor tour in Hamburg and admire the famous Elbphilharmonie, the Speicherstadt or the container terminals. Since the LAOLA Cup takes place at the beginning of August, we hope of course for a great weather like 2020, then you can relax well in the large city park or at the Außenalster. Hamburg is also known for the party mile Reeperbahn and also in the rest of the city you can find many bars, clubs, restaurants and cafes.
When it comes to football, the special thing about Hamburg is that it is home to two big clubs: HSV and St. Pauli. You can book stadium tours in the big Volksparkstadion of HSV as well as in the Millerntorstadion of St. Pauli! In Hamburg you will not get bored, that's a guarantee.

The tournament takes place at sports facilities in the center of Hamburg, making it easy to reach by public transport. The sports facilities have both natural and artificial turf pitches. The accommodation is also located in the city center, so the distances to the tournament matches are not very long. Furthermore, many leisure activities can be undertaken in the non-match time.

The sports facilities and accommodation are easily accessible by public transport. The LAOLA Cup is therefore the tournament highlight of the year year after year, especially for the many international teams.

Skill & Fun Area

To avoid boredom during the game breaks, there is a great Skill & Fun Area next to the playing fields. Here you can expect game stations such as goal wall shooting, soccer darts, bubble soccer, bungee basketball and measure shooting speed.
Here you can compete with other players and if you are the best in your age group, there will even be a little surprise for you at the award ceremony!
